International education consultancy

Building better education, globally.

We work with schools and organisations to translate abstract education research into durable practice, creating lasting improvement, stronger learning cultures, and more confident students.

What we do

Five themes

What we believe

Change starts in the classroom — and holds at the system level.

Everything we do is evidence-informed: grounded in the science of learning and in implementation science, and tested against the realities of school life. At its heart is adaptive, responsive teaching — using evidence of learning to decide what to do next. We don't believe in quick fixes or one-off training. We build programmes that move both people and systems.

01

Evidence-informed

Grounded in the science of learning and in implementation science — start to finish.

02

Tested in reality

Checked against the realities of school life, with a feel for what actually survives.

03

People and systems

We move both at once — classroom practice and the structures that support it.

04

Built to last

No quick fixes. Multi-year programmes designed so change holds, not fades.

Who we are

Two perspectives that depend on each other.

Valentina Devid and Samuel Derkse both work in and on education. Most change stalls in the gap between a good idea and everyday practice — so we work both sides of that gap at once.

Valentina Devid

Valentina Devid

Implementation · leadership · whole-school development

A former teacher and middle leader, Valentina has spent years as a trainer and adviser — in the Netherlands and increasingly across international contexts. She works at the level of implementation, leadership and whole-school development: how to make change durable rather than a project that fades within a year.
